據熱火記者Anthony Chiang報道，熱火與普林簽下的是一份 Exhibit10合同。夏季聯賽時，普林與熱火簽下了雙向合同，但球隊為了簽下約什-克裏斯托弗（雙向合同）之後將普林裁掉。

錫安-普林在夏季聯賽為熱火出戰9場比賽，場均得到5.9分1.2籃板1.9助攻，投籃命中率51.3%，三分命中率75%。
